I am Laurian Verré, developer, manager of the enterprise.
After getting my master’s degree from the computer science engineering schools INSA de Rennes (France) and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), I wanted to combine my passions for computer science, languages and traveling: I worked in Canada for six months and in Spain for three years. Then, I took a gap year and a half traveling in Latin America. There, I created my freelance enterprise in 2012 (I converted it into an LLC in 2023) which allowed me to work while living for four years in several countries of Latin America, and then in France since 2016.
Since I created my business in 2012, I’ve mostly worked with Tavoca which is specialized in automated appointment reminders, in particular for doctors, clinics and hospitals, in the USA. I had the chance to work on many diverse and interesting projects such as an IVR that can handle several hundreds of simultaneous calls, a system that can send and receive millions of texts (with management of texting campaigns that prove the texts are not spam), sending and receiving of medical files through healthcare protocols (HL7 and FHIR), data extraction from many different formats (including PDF/image with OCR) and creation of webapps for staff and clients.
My idea of a computer science engineer: you can’t know everything but you can learn anything!
In addition to computer science, I am passionate about traveling, sailing, languages, education, chess and space.
